I’ve been in the PR lobbying business for thirty years.

I started Green Issues Communications in 1998 and it grew rapidly to about 40 consultants. In 2006 I decided to sell up and retire (doh).

In 2018, I founded Curtin&Co and we grew to 20 consultants. In 2019, I sold that company in a management buy-out and left to retire again.

Both companies eventually went into administration with huge debts.

I took my primary degree in science (Mathematics and Physics – boring) but have spent almost all my career in communications – journalism, and public relations with Thames Water and the nuclear industry. I have written a couple of books, both published by Palgrave Macmillan: Managing Green Issues (2001, 2017) and Managing a Crisis (2015) as well as an unclaimed novel.
